Catalog description

A study of abnormal behavior, cognition, and affect. The definition of abnormality is explored, as well as the concept of what constitutes a mental disorder. Classification of abnormality and theories regarding the development of disorders are discussed. Current research findings concerning specific mental disorders, ethical issues, and cultural diversity are explored. <i>Fulfills social science core and Group VI requirement. FO/IFS/IHE</i>
