Catalog description
The study of functions from an algebraic, graphical, and numerical perspective. Concepts and procedures are emphasized, focusing on connections between equations, inequalities, and the analysis of function behavior. Algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions are examined and applied to problems from science and business. For students intending to take Calculus (MA151 or MA251).
