Provides an activity-based exploration of informal geometry in two and three dimensions as well as probability and statistics. Emphasis is on visualization skills, fundamental geometric concepts, the analysis of shapes and patterns, and analyzing and displaying data. Students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts required to teach mathematics in elementary school. <i>Does not fulfill mathematics and statistics core requirement.</i>
