Catalog description
A transition between language study on the lower-division level, where grammar and oral practice are stressed, to more advanced upper-division courses in which the language becomes the primary means of expression and communication. Special emphasis is put on the study of Italian immigration into the United States, considering different aspects with the help of Italian literature, history, movies and personal narratives.<i>CU/ICL/II/IU</i>
