Catalog description

Provides an overview of creative approaches in mental health counseling that may include drama, movement, visual arts, music, writing, sand, and play. The course is experiential and grounded in a multi-cultural trauma-informed, social justice framework. Participants develop competence in underlying theories and develop culturally competent skills and techniques to use with communities, families, and individuals across the lifespan.
