Catalog description
A thorough grounding in the four language skills: reading, listening comprehension, speaking, and writing, as well as an introduction to Francophone cultures and literatures. <i>For students with no previous knowledge of the language. Not recommended for students who have taken three years of high school French. Laboratory study outside the classroom is required. Summer sections offered abroad only.</i>
