Catalog description

Examines the issues related to victims of violent crimes, including measurement of victimization, the impact on victims, discussions of typology of victims, and analysis of the victim-offender relationship. The course also explores the role of victimology in investigations of violent crimes, specifically within the context of forensic victimology and investigative profiling that require an in-depth, holistic understanding of the victim's life.
