Introduces students to the insurance industry, covering key concepts such as health, liability, life, property, workers' compensation, and environmental insurance. The course explores the insurance industry from the perspective of individuals, corporations, and insurance companies. Students gain an understanding of insurance pricing, underwriting and claims processes, and reinsurance practices.
