Obj-Oriented Software Design

Catalog description

A continuation of CS 212. Students learn how to design and implement flexible, reusable, and maintainable object-oriented programs. The course fosters a deeper understanding of object-oriented programming, including generics, abstract classes, interfaces, inheritance and delegation, and object-oriented analysis and design. Students apply techniques learned to the analysis, design, and implementation of advanced data structures such as heaps and balanced trees, and the advanced algorithms they support. <i>Required for computer science majors.
