Classics Internship

Catalog description

Internships give students opportunities for hands-on experience in career fields such as publishing, advertising, public relations, journalism, museum studies, and law. Students must document at least 150 hours of work, spread evenly over the semester. Internship time includes a combination of supervised time by approved experts outside the university, student assignments, and supervised time by a university instructor. At least 120 of the required hours should be completed under the workplace supervisor. <i>Written or electronic permission of the instructor. Counts once towards the major; may be repeated for free elective credit.</i>
