Honors Biology Research I

Catalog description

Requires the student to create a faculty committee of at least three members, including the sponsoring biology faculty member and at least one other biology faculty member. Prior to registration, students must write, submit and have an honors thesis proposal approved by the committee. Additional requirements include the submission and defense of a final paper to the committee in a format decided by the sponsoring faculty member, and presentation of research in a departmental seminar. <i>Prior research experience required (BL481, Hauber Fellowship). Written or electronic permission of the department chair.</i>
