An examination of the evidence for Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection. Students study the details of the process of evolution from several perspectives including population genetics, evolutionary ecology, and macroevolution. topics include genome evolution, adaptation, speciation, and extinction.<I> Closed to students who have taken BL435.
