Catalog description
Student interns are required to work under the guidance of an on-site supervisor for a minimum of 150 hours with either (a) a startup venture that enables the student to participate in the development of plans, products, services, or operational process or (b) an "intrapreneural" effort or project in an established organization intended to yield new or improved products, services, or market growth. The location may be in-or out-of-state, on a paid or unpaid basis. Course requirements include a weekly work log and schedule performance evaluations signed by the on-site supervisor. <i>Written permission of the instructor and the management and organizations department chair.</i>
