Catalog description
Startup organizations often require "angel" investors, individuals or groups who are willing to accept the unique financial risks occurring during the early stages of a business, to help them launch and establish their business plans. Angel investing is evolving in relation to economic forces and demands for innovation, as well as ensuring that this practice does not continue to exclude historically marginalized communities. This course provides students with hands-on experience as angel investors and an opportunity to make an impact on early-stage Maryland companies.
