This variable-topics course will focus on a specific method, theme, or topic in biblical scholarship. Areas of focus may include methods in biblical scholarship, thematic studies of the biblical canon, extracanonical literature, traditions of commentary on the biblical text, and historical, social, cultural, and economic realities pertinent to understanding and interpreting biblical texts.
