Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics in the biological sciences. Topics include data visualization, probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, confidence intervals, t-tests, tests of proportions, chi-square tests, correlation, linear regression, and ANOVA. Contemporary computer software will be used to apply the methods.
