Catalog description
This course will examine a variety of philosophical frameworks for thinking about gender, sexuality, the problems of sexism, and proposed solutions to those problems. Students will explore the complexity and diversity of feminist thought by examining many different feminist philosophies including liberal, radical, cultural, Marxist/socialist, existentialist, postmodern, ecological, and indigenous perspectives.
