Catalog description
This course prepares the student to gain substantive knowledge of the key issues in global maternal and child health. With a focus on low-and-middle income countries (LMICs), the course will provide the student an opportunity to delve into critical issues faced by women and children, assess health disparities, and examine social justice issues in LMICs. In addition, the student will be expected to think critically about existing programs, research, and policy involving maternal and child health.
