Women and Leadership

Catalog description

Women & Leadership is a 1-2 credit, 7-week seminar course for second- and third-year law students that examines the obstacles that prevent women from reaching leadership positions in proportional numbers, and examines solutions and strategies for overcoming these obstacles. Over the course of 7-weeks, students will engage in dialogue in response to assigned readings, hypotheticals, podcasts, and video presentations such as TED Talks. Students also hear from guest speakers who will discuss their experiences and the decisions that helped shape their careers.
