Catalog description

This course covers the energy supply of movement, systemic effects of exercise, and adaptations to exercise training through the lens of physiology. The role of the major physiological systems of the body in maintaining homeostasis during exercise will be studied along with the adaptations that occur in these systems following exercise training. Practical applications of this knowledge will be explored with regards to the role of exercise in maintaining and improving human health and performance.
