The biology of women at pivotal points in the lifespan, along with the biological changes that occur from one life stage to another. The interaction of society (eg, medical field) with women at each of these points in time. Topics to be discussed include the evolution of sex and gender, gender differentiation and diversity, reproductive processes, disease detection and treatment, and violence against women.
