Catalog description

This course explores emerging issues, theories, and practices in student leadership beyond the foundations of leadership development. Topics vary by semester and may include areas such as conflict management, ethical decision-making, intercultural competence, digital leadership, leadership and well-being, or crisis response. Focus areas may also include leadership topics centered on specialized student leaders (e.g. Greek Leaders, SGA Leaders, Orientation Leaders, etc...). Through interactive discussions, applied projects, and reflective practice, students will engage with specialized themes that strengthen their capacity to lead effectively in diverse campus, community, and professional settings. May be repeated for credit when topics vary.
