Catalog description

Culminating experience course, also referred to as Internship, in which students conduct supervised fieldwork in a public health-practice setting under the guidance of a mentor to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the curriculum. Students are required to (1) complete 150 hours of fieldwork as part of an internship experience, and (2) produce two projects that demonstrate competence in public health. Grading will be on a pass/fail basis. Prerequisite(s): PUBH 701, PUBH 703, PUBH 707, PUBH 708, PUBH 709, PUBH 712, PUBH 713, PUBH 723 unless otherwise approved by the Department.
