Lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and laboratory exercises performed in the student laboratory designed to familiarize the student with the principles, procedures and interpretation of general and advanced techniques as applied in the clinical immunohematology laboratory. Stresses importance of laboratory quality control in transfusion practices. Concurrent registration in MTEC 4111.
