Integrative Structural Biology (Histology)

, letter grade In this course, students will be responsible for lectures covering the histology (microscopic anatomy) of each of topics listed on the course schedule. There will also be a laboratory session related to each of the lecture topics. This course consists of a detailed survey of mammalian histology involving both lecture/discussion and laboratory examination of sectioned tissues. Students who take this course will develop an in depth understanding of mammalian tissue structure/function.
