Didactic introductory course in the assessment and clinical management of cardiovascular disease with emphasis on pharmacologic interventions. Course content includes an overview of cardiovascular disease and discussion on pharmacologic principles to include drug administration and metabolism, drug calculations, and a review of the autonomic nervous system.
