Didactic/laboratory course designed to introduce the student to the diagnostic procedures used in the cardiac catheterization (CC) lab. Didactic instruction in medical instrumentation applied to CC lab procedures including patient preparation and monitoring, angiographic equipment set-up, and the coronary angiography procedure.
