Catalog description

The CDL/CVO course is designed to prepare individuals for the CDL state licensing test. It covers online theory which includes safe driving procedures, handling cargo, trip planning, logging hours, coupling/uncoupling, identifying defects, driving in extreme conditions and night operations, shifting manual transmissions, and more. The hands-on portion of this class includes pre-trip, backing, and driving to prepare students for the CDL test. At the end of the course the student should have the knowledge and ability to pass the CDL state license test. Certifications include Commercial Vehicle Operator Class A CDL
