Workers who are exposed to extreme heat or work in hot environments may be at risk of heat stress. Exposure to extreme heat can result in occupational illnesses and injuries. This course will cover how heat affects the body, steps employees can take to prevent heat stress, and basic first aid that can be given to a worker who has been affected by a heat-related illness. 15 sessions.
