Catalog description

This course, the first of a two-course sequence, introduces candidates to the field of teaching by focusing on professional responsibilities of educators and the development of elementary school children. Three primary topics will be addressed within the course: Professional Issues for Education Careers, Child Development, and Technology for Teaching and Learning. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 & ENGL 102 with a C or better. All developmental courses completed.
