Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an introduction to aseptic techniques, admixture preparation, incompatibility and stability, irrigation solutions, calculations for intravenous solutions, total parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapy. Prerequisite(s): Completion of PHAR 1001 , PHAR 1002 , PHAR 1003 , and PHAR 1004 with the grade of “C” or higher. Co-requisite(s): Completion of or enrollment in PHAR 1020 and PHAR 1011 .
