Pharmacology for Pharmacy Tech

Catalog description

This course for the pharmacy technician clinical student presents basic pharmacology with emphasis on drug therapy. The course content includes drug laws, terminology, therapeutic classes of drugs, indications, side effects, contraindications, generic and trade names, and calculations. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in or completion of, all program qualification courses: ALHT 1009 , ALHT 1016 , HSCI 110 , BIOL 110 , and BIOL 111 . Co-requisite(s): Enrollment in or completion of PHAR 1010 , PHAR 1002 , and PHAR 1003 .
