Catalog description

This course will introduce students to clinically significant bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoans, and helminths as they relate to pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical procedures in a clinical microbiology setting. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of MLTS 100 , 101, MATH 110 or MATH 117 , ENGL 101 , CHEM 101 , BIOL 201 , BIOL 203 , BIOL 210 and BIOL 211 with a grade of a C or better. Co-requisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in or successful completion of MLTS 221 .
