Medical Assistant Clinical

Catalog description

The student will perform, demonstrate and practice a minimum of 40 hours of basic Medical Assistant care in approved facilities, under the supervision of the LDCC faculty. The application of the MA process will be used in meeting biological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of clients in selective environments. Major components included are professionalism, effective communication, front office skills, and knowledge of medication.
