Catalog description

This course is a co-requisite support course for ENGL 101 English Composition I. The course provides students with intensive supplemental instruction to reinforce their English grammar and composition skills, while they are concurrently enrolled in ENGL 101 English Composition I. Students with scores <18 ACT English sub-score, <500 SAT English sub-score, or <250 Accuplacer NG Writing are required to take this course while concurrently enrolled in ENGL 101 English Composition I. Students with an earned grade C or better in ENGL 099 Dev English II within one year of enrollment in ENGL 101 English Composition I are exempt from this co-requisite support course.
