Catalog description

This developmental English writing course prepares students to enter LDCC’s general education sequence at the ENGL 101 level. The course focuses on the development of essay writing skills, including the documented essay, through intensive instruction in basic composition methods with a special emphasis on revision and editing. This course includes specific instruction in usage and mechanics. Placement based on placement exam, ACT score, or successful completion of ENGL 095 with a C or higher.
