Catalog description

The course is designed as the starting point for a career in IT support. Completing this course will help the student acquire the knowledge and skills to set up and use a computer at home securely and keep it in good working order as well as provide informal support for PCs and simple computer networks in a small business. This course is an IBC preparatory course with a focus on CompTIA’s IT Fundamentals Plus (ITF+) examination, a gateway IBC to additional IT certifications such as CompTIA’s A+, Network+, and Security+.
