Catalog description
For students with no previous study of Spanish. Students with previous study of Spanish should enroll in SPAN 1050. Credit will not be given for this course and SPAN 1050. Supplementary work in language laboratory. Native speakers of Spanish will not receive credit for this course. Basic lexicon and structure of Spanish; emphasis on communicative language use.
