Catalog description

LSU and overall GPA of at least 2.50. Preparatory for graduate study in statistics and research design in psychology. Open to psychology majors; open to other students with permission of instructor. Emphasis on inferential statistics and hypothesis testing; familiarization with common statistical analysis software and interpretation of output; major topics include simple and factorial analysis of variance, linear and multiple correlation and regression.
