Catalog description

A study of the concepts, theories, and research regarding the differences and similarities between men and women. Gender will be examined from a variety of perspectives, including biological, psychological, and sociocultural. Topics include history of psychology of gender, gender roles and stereotyping, theories of gender identity and development, cognitive abilities, achievement, emotions, interpersonal communication, relationships, careers and work, physical health, stress and psychopathology.
