This course offers an opportunity to examine the origin, development, and functions of state and local governments, with special reference to Ohio political institutions and the interworking of metropolitan governments. The course examines our rich history beginning with Federalism, evolution of state government and constitutions, local citizen participation, political parties, elections, and public administration.
