ADVANCED HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Catalog description

This course focuses on the theory and clinical application of comprehensive health assessment principles for individuals across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on the development of advanced assessment skills necessary for professional nursing practice at the baccalaureate level. Learners will integrate knowledge of physical, psychological, social, cultural, and environmental factors that influence health status. Preventative health strategies, cultural health considerations, and promotion of mental wellness are explored.
