Catalog description

A general survey of music of the world's cultures focusing on the music of jazz musicians, popular musicians, traditional and folk musicians, Native Americans, Africans, African-Americans, peasant cultures of Eastern Europe, Japanese, Indians, Indonesians, Latin Americans, Chinese, and other related cultures. This course is open to all students. (OT 36)
