MATHEMATICS FOR ELEMENTARY TEACHERS II

Catalog description

This course is a continuation of the concepts and ideas basic to elementary school mathematics with particular emphasis on the development of geometry. Topics include: an introduction of probability and statistics; functions; congruence and similarity of triangles; properties of polygons; perimeter, area, surface area, and volume; coordinate geometry; and motion geometry. Technology and manipulatives will be used by the student to explore geometric properties and relationships. Mathematics Core Course. (OT 36)
