This course introduces the anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology pertaining to body systems and how they relate to the assessment and treatment by the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) professional. This course covers cell structure and function, blood components and the different body systems as well as correct medical terminology that applies to each system or organ. (CTAG)
