Catalog description
In this course, students engage in the study of effective methods for observing and recording children's behavior, acquiring the skills to support early childhood developmental goals and effectively guide and manage young children in a classroom setting. Techniques, strategies, and tools for observing, recording, and assessing growth and development from infancy to school age will be explored with an emphasis placed on fostering a positive self-esteem in children as well as promoting self-control.
