Catalog description

Introduction to microcomputer applications. Survey of application packages including Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, presentation and graphics. Includes hardware concepts and basic computer terminology and email. Guidelines for selecting and evaluating hardware and software. Students may go to the LCCC computer lab or use a computer that supports the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office application software. Laboratory required.
