Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental elements of effective communication in Arabic and will primarily focus on mastery of the alphabet. Language skills will be developed through cyclical practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will develop their understanding of the Arabic phonological system, basic conversational topics, vocabulary and simple sentences.
