Catalog description

This course is for the medical professional who seeks to enhance their skills sets. The medical scribe is able to assist the physician by being trained in medical documentation. The medical scribe serves as part of the health care team, with a primary goal of increasing the productivity and efficiency of the physician. A medical scribe can be employed in a physician’s office or hospital setting such as the Intensive Care Unit. This course prepares students for the Medical Scribe Certification Exam (MSCE).
