Catalog description

This course would be a comprehensive overview of the field of forensic accounting. It highlights fraud in many different forms. Accounting, legalities, tools and techniques of fraud will be discussed along with organization and highlights from Sarbanes-Oxley. This course will provide a foundation into the connectivity of forensic accounting and fraud examination. Some of the other topics discussed are: ethics, tax and financial statement fraud, business valuation, information security, identity theft and organized crime.
